Have you ever dialed a number expecting to talk to a real live human being when you get this annoying computer voice that says, "Your call is important to us, etc, etc... Or maybe you got a plethora of choices to choose from: "Press, or say One for Sales..Press, or say Two for Customer Service..Press, or say Three...UGH! Well, when you call us we will actually answer the phone, unless we're on the other line talking to another important customer, or it's lunch time. Other than that, no computer voices and no buttons to press, ever! We really try to treat our customers like we like to be treated, with kindness and respect. We know there was a reason you contacted us and we intend to do our very best to make that contact as pleasant as possible and give you the very best solution we can. We're honest, we're professional and we know the meaning of customer service. That's why people come to us.
How We Got Our Name
It's really not that amazing a story but just about everyone we meet asks the question, "How did you come up with the name Loafin' Tree?" Like any good design, we stole it. We really did try to come up with an original name but 'Todd and Rich's Design Studio' seemed a little blasé. After toiling for days without food or water I finally said, "How about Loafin' Tree?" It worked. Everyone loved it and a new business was born.
The truth is, I used to live in a small town called Binghamton in New York state. Binghamton was not cold enough so we travelled 4 hours to Buffalo to watch the Bills play in sub-artic weather. Well, on the way, there was a restaurant called The Loafin' Tree. Low and behold, it actually had a tree growing through its roof! I always thought the name was cool so I borrowed it for my business in Virginia. I think the restaurant is closed now anyways. (If not, Thanks for letting me borrow the name!! Hehe.)
About Loafin' Tree
The founders of Loafin' Tree took the plunge in the spring of 2003, bringing the company to life in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. The design/marketing company started as a partnership between two talented designers, Rich Scherzinger and Todd Broadbent. Its partners brought decades of combined design experience. Rich brought invaluable talent in web design, being responsible for building sites for The Arthritis Foundation, The American Diabetes Association and more recently extensive data driven sites for James Madison University and Rockingham Memorial Hospital. Todd attended Temple University and has done work for companies like IBM, Motorola and The Virginia Department of Health. Together they created an entity winning numerous awards for their work.
Now Loafin' Tree employs the services of several talented designers, developers and vendors in an effort to bring quality products and new and useful technologies to our customers.
"Our business continues to expand as word gets out about the quality of work we strive to provide. As our business expands, we are continually looking for new ways to satisfy our customers' needs using the latest technology available. We maintain a progressive movement within the industry and our designs are unmatched by competing firms. We have also been happy to maintain Mossy Creek Trail, a website showcasing local artists and events in the Shenandoah Valley, since 2003. Overall, the most rewarding thing is making our customers happy.
It's what we do." - Todd M. Broadbent
In October of 2004 Loafin' Tree officially became a single owner Limited Liability Corporation under the management of Todd. Loafin' Tree LLC continues to grow and thrive while adding multi-million dollar clients to its credit. Loafin' Tree now serves multiple government agencies, health facilities, retail firms, car dealers and more as it caters to each customers individual needs.
Our ideal is to give each customer the respect and service they deserve and pay for. We consult with each client to give them what they need, not useless products and services that waste valuable marketing dollars. We produce professional results in a reasonable time frame and we treat the customer right.
"All things, therefore, that you want men to do to you, you also must likewise do to them..." --Matt. 7:12
